The only brand bra I'll buy Apr 07, 2009
By talecr I always avoided Walcoal bras because of their price and I was never a fan of how they looked. I was fitted with one during a bra sizing at Macy's and I'll never ever even consider buying a different brand bra. I ended up purchasing the #85185 style and I love it, though I would consider other styles from Wacoal.
The 85185 doesn't ride up on my back, it minimizes without giving you side boobs or the uniboob, it sits firmly in place while smoothing the tissue on your sides and back (i.e. my shirts ride smoothly on top of the bra and it doesn't look like I've got an inordinate amount of back fat the bra is digging into), it's supportive without being constrictive and it looks sexy even when I'm wearing a lower cut shirt.
I used to wear underwire sports bras daily because regular bras just weren't giving me enough support. I don't have to do that any more with this bra. I've even worn it during low to moderate impact exercise and it's done it's job.
Another great feature is that it minimizes really well, while still keeping a flattering shape. I can now wear shirts that fit my WHOLE torso, instead of having to find shirts that fit my chest.

Real seamless coverage for large sizes Nov 06, 2008
By Altered Librarian I am a 44DDD, and this is the first seamless bra I have found that
1. actually doesn't gap
2. makes it look like I have breasts, NOT a "rack" of 1 breast
3. the straps are thin but supportive and back is the same way
4. tight clothes look great, and it doesn't peek out of tops
The only problem I had with this was that after about 70 wearings, the wire came out of one cup. (This is a common problem with me, so maybe it is something that I am doing?)
I'm not wearing any of my other bras.
I have pretty much stopped wearing all of my other bras.

Expensive but worth it Feb 08, 2008
By The Sewing Fanatic I was fitted with this bra by a trained fitter at Nordstrom and have loved it since. It gives great support, partly because it has a hidden panel on the side between the layers of fabric that gently supports the side tissue and enhances your shape. The two layers of soft tricot, which gives a smooth appearance under knits while providing modesty. I would highly recommend this bra, especially for someone with a C cup or larger.

Best all-around bra I've ever had! Jun 11, 2008

"Amazon"
I've finally found it. Now I just want to get rid of all my other bras. This particular model Wacoal doesn't create a "uniboob" (center section sticking out), even for us larger-busted women. Fits beautifully, seamless but pretty, well-made, comes in the right colors; what more could you want? (ok, a lower price, but let's get serious.)

Big fan of Wacoal but not this Bra Jul 01, 2011
By Jen I have exclusively ordered Wocaol minimizer bras for years now. I am least satisfied with this one for 2 primary reasons: 1. The wide part of the shoulder strap does not fit me in the right spot. No matter how I adjust the bra, the wide part falls just below the top of my shoulder defeating the purpose of a comfort wide padding. 2. This bra has build in side padding that shows through a blouse. I don't want apparent lines bringing more attention to my oversized chest. :b I will continue to buy from Wocoal but not this bra.
