pre-historic Jun 05, 2008
By lcrutch I order three different types of sports bras to see what would work best with my new largely endowed chest that my new twins have given me. This one was not my favorite. The fabric is not stretchy or breathable. It is hooked together in the front and at the shoulders with the kind that are on the bra of a regular bra. The shape that it gives your breast is the 1950s pointy boob look. Xtra Support Zip Bra - Women's by CW-X was a good one that i tried as well just get a size up. I also ordered underarmour for D support, but order a size down in that one. I sometimes even wear another bra with that one but is extremely comfortable and looks like a nice sporty sports bra rather than a straight jacket

Works for my 46D babies Feb 04, 2009
By Mir This bra, no question, feels somewhat like armor. I actually like that. I'm middle-aged with a 46D set of girls, and I needed a racerback bra for my racerback workout tops. There aren't that many for my size, so my options are very limited. I tried teh Glamorise one, and I found the fabric scratchy. This one, while "armor-ous", keeps me in, holds me up, and allows me enough movement to do my Pilates with my trainer. It gives my breasts a rather nice shape--uplifted but NOT snow-cone pointy. Of all my racerback sports bras, and even some of my wire-free sports bras, this one's gotten me the most compliments on my bosom. :)
The hooks are a bit of a pain. There are a LOT of them going up the front. With presbyopia, reading glasses help (the black bra, you just have a hard time seeing the hooks if you've got older eyes).
But I'm happy with the feel of the fabric, the moisture wicking (for real, it does), and the uplift/support without compromising needed flexibility for those weird Pilates moves.
I've yet to find a perfect racerback sports bra, but this one's my fave for my plus-size frame and D cup babies.

Built like a tank May 29, 2009
By Jennifer Schulze If you struggle with not getting enough support/stabilization, this is the sports bra for you. The bra comes with adjustment hooks on the shoulder straps and for the front closures. The fabric is very stiff and can feel a bit binding or confining, but I have gotten used to it. There is actually some shaping to the cups, so you aren't just squeezed into a uni-boob. If you are looking for something soft and cozy, this isn't it. There are no frills. No pretty colors. This is like strapping on armor. It does its job and it does it well.

By Amanda Houston I love this bra! i bought it after my implant surgery because i couldn't find a sports bra in a 34G locally. It was perfect! It is the most supportive sports bra i have ever worn. I run 2 to 3 miles a day, and i run stadium steps, this bra keeps me from bouncing and feels great. it's not pretty, but it does its job. i also liked that it gives your bust some shape and doesn't just sqeeze them together. I would recomend this bra to anyone with large breast who needs lots of support.
