very comfortable, actually minimizes May 07, 2010 The reasons I did not give this a 5 star rating is because the fit is a bit off on the top of the cups, shoulder straps are too short, and in the taupe/nude color this is hands-down the most unsexy undergarment I have ever owned- and I've also owned a nude color, waist to knees Spanx; so, that's saying a lot. The shoulder straps are just barely long enough for me when pulled out to their very longest. I'm 5'8". If you're any taller I don't think this bra will work for you. Also, the top of the cup, the part that reaches from the top of the breast to where the shoulder straps attach, is weirdly loose/puckery. It's like they expect your boobs to be really big in that area. Mine are not; that's more of a chest area on me, not a breast area.
So, that all sounds really bad, right? The thing is though, that this bra is super comfortable and actually DOES minimize. I haven't measured myself in it but I can actually see in the mirror that I look noticeably smaller. Also, with this bra and some Miss Oops double-sided tape I am now able to wear all of the button up shirts in my skinny closet. These are shirts I was able to wear as a 36D. At 36DD (now) in a properly fitting regular bra I get that ugly pulling open effect between the buttons at the center of my chest. You know what I mean.
I like wearing button-up shirts. Going up a size in shirts looks terrible on me. I look like I'm wearing a giant bag. Custom-made button up shirts run close to $200 each and I can't afford that. I can, however, afford this bra and a little double-sided tape. So, it's worth it to me to have on an unsexy bra if I can actually wear cute tops again.
To make your special girls happy, let them ride in one of these May 05, 2010 I love how they support me. No spillage. No poking. No Cone BOOBS.The strapes stay in place.Plus, it's so so pretty.

Bali Passion for Comfort minimizer. Jan 10, 2010 After reading a dozen reviews, i thought I would take the chance to buy these when they were really marked down, ordered three.
At first I didnt like them, but after getting used to them, I have come to love them! OK, that said, let me be a little more opinionated. I wear a 40D, and these are great bras, but I personally don't think of them as minimzer. I have other company minimizer bras, and the other day I decided to put on each, a Bali and the other. Bali does minimize a little, whereas the other minimizers really minimze. On me the Bali minimizes maybe 1/2 a size. But then I can wear one of these 12 hours and not feel like i have been bound up all day.

Beautiful! Dec 23, 2009 I have been wearing Victoria's Secret bras forever, not anymore. I realized one day that I actually need a minimizer bra, and realized VS doesn't make one. They are all about pushing the girls up until they spill out. So I started to google, found this bra on [...] under the Cabernet name. Ordered a white one and as soon as I took it out of the package, I knew it was perfect. I took the tags off before I even tried it on! It gives a nice round shape (I hate bras that make me look pointy!). It is soft and comfortable. There is NO spillage (over the top or around the back straps). This thing actually does make me look smaller too, which I wasn't about to believe until I saw it. I went back right away to [...] and ordered a toffee one too. But I almost always wear black, they didn't have black! After more googling, I realized it is actually this Bali style #3385 bra. I guess Dillard's sells Bali bras under the Cabernet name. Whatever. Found it in black here at Amazon under the Bali name! Yay! I will probably order a bunch more and throw out about $500 worth of Victoria's Secret bras.
I *might* be able to size down from a 36D to a 36C... I will experiment with that later. But I am probably ok and just reading too much into it. I always wear a 36D. The D cup on this seems just a tad bigger than I am used to. Just a tad. This may be why I'm not getting the spillage though, so I should probably not chance it. Another reviewer said this bra is at Kohl's? I will look and see if I can try one on.

Very good bra Nov 17, 2009 It's a good minimizer, comfortable, and not a harness. 3 hook back closure and tagless. There's nothing scratching your back and no uncomfortable side wire. The fabric is soft and smooth. The bra can easily be worn with lower cut tops. Surprisingly, the cups are true to size, but the bra give very good separation and cleavage....just like the photo. The straps are comfortable. I don't normally wear underwires. These underwires are comfortable
